365Caws is now in its 16th year of publication. If I am unable to post daily, I hope readers who love the natural world and fiberarts will seize those days to read the older material. Remember that this has been my journey as well, so you may find errors in my identifications of plants. I have tried to correct them as I discover them. Likewise, I have refined fiberarts techniques and have adjusted recipes, so search by tags to find the most current information. And thank you for following me!

13 Crazy Blocks
This project is turning out to be a lot more fun than I'd expected, and as a bonus, I'm making a substantial dent in the bag of fabric scraps labelled "fragments" (i.e., those with whole characters on them) as well as reducing the level in the storage box called "littles" (i.e., those which are too small to incorporate into every block of another quilt). "Littles" and "fragments" go in the scrappiest of my scrap quilts. For this quilt, I've occasionally dipped into my stash of larger pieces to find focal points and accents, but largely, I've only used scraps which were too small to use for anything else. It's a great "stash-buster" project!
